This is one of those posts. Ya know the "What we have been up to in the last little while" posts with lots of pictures and whatnot. I'm sure each one of these things deserves its own post but I really don't have the time, nor do I want to take the time, to put the effort into three or more different posts. So it's all going to be compiled into one.
So feel free to skip it unless you are family or friends that really care and want to know what we've been doing lately.....

C's School every year hosts a dinner and Hockey night. We've had intentions to go in years past but for some reason never ended up doing it. A lot of the students go and do it as a Family night thing but we decided we needed to get out and have a date night with out the kids. So C took me to my VERY first Hockey game ever. Yep, I married a Canadian and have never been to a real live hockey game. It was a fun experience. We sat right in front of some crazy (drunk) super fans of this local team and that was pretty much the highlight of the game for me. We heard some interesting things come out of this mans mouth, Good times!(what?! We have a picture of us, together? That rarely happens these days!)
Last Weekend Daddy took his son on a "Guys night out" to the Monster Truck Rally that came to town. C and a few of his Classmates all decided Monster Truck Rally was a good excuse to take their sons out to enjoy some guy time, but we all know they just wanted to go see the Monster Truck Rally for themselves ;)
No, I'm partially kidding, C was excited to take his son because he knows how much J boy LOVES watching Monster Trucks on TV, he knew J boy would love it!
J was talking about it for days before saying "It will be loud! I will need my ear things." Daddy had to warn him in advanced it would be loud and wearing ear plugs will help. He knew J might get a little scared by all the noise.

I love this picture, Father and Son. AWWWWWA!
Random funny pictures:
Some times we body paint at our house with Crayola washable markers, oh wait just J boy does that. Thank heavens for washable markers!
(Yes I blurred his boy parts but as you can tell they were colored too, ha ha such a boy! :)
Last but not least....
E was SO excited to have her Daddy come in to her Class and talk about teeth. This week was "Healthy Teeth Week" at her school and they talked a lot about ways to keep your teeth healthy. I went in to help out in her class on Monday and at carpet time they had a few kids do their show and tell which was supposed to be something healthy for their teeth (they all brought their tooth brushes of course) and then they all talked about different ways to keep their teeth healthy. One kid said "You can go to the Dentist" and E turned around and said to me "Like Daddy is going to be a Dentist" she was so excited. She said she wanted to bring in some of Daddy's "cool things" for her show and tell day later that week.
So I could not resist, later I talked to the teacher and told her about C being in Dental School and I volunteered him to come in and talk to the kids about going to the Dentist and how to brush the right way etc. (He totally loved me for that one ;) E's Teacher was excited to have someone else for the kids to listen to talk about keeping their teeth healthy. She said "We don't get a lot of Daddy's coming in so they will LOVE it!"
Showing the kids on his pair of False Teeth (he had to make for school) the proper way to brush your teeth. (Picture below)
When talking about fluoride, one smart little girl raised her hand and asked "But isn't it bad to leave fluoride on your teeth because it will make them have gray spots?" What? Where did that come from? How would a 5 year old know to ask something like that? It was cute. He did clarify to her and the class that it will NOT make gray spots on your teeth, it's only if you swallow LOTS of fluoride that it can make your adult teeth look gray.
E raised her hand and said to Daddy "Daddy remember when you put those fake teeth in your mouth and you looked so funny?" all her classmates laughed and said "Put them in! Do it!"
So here he is making the kids laugh by putting in fake teeth and looking silly.
E was so proud to have her Daddy come in to her class, but I think her favorite parts was when he made her whole class laugh by being silly, that is E for ya, silly girl!

He did GREAT, talking to 5 year olds is pretty easy if you ask a lot of question, they ALL have lots to say! See all the hands up in the air, it was cute.

So there ya go, lots of updates in one big post.
I'm thinking it just might have taken the same amount of time to put them all on separate posts as it was to have put them all on this one, oh well.
