Leaving on a Jet Plane!
I have to do one last post before I leave for 7 days. Yes, this evening I get on a plane and fly to my mothers house. Then I will be preparing myself for a very long and crazy weekend with my sister getting married. I'm so excited for several reasons: one, my sister is GETTING MARRIED! that is exciting. Two, I can't wait to see Rexburg, and all the changes and the Temple there. Three, I get to see a lot of family and that is always fun even if it is going to be crazy! And last, as much work as I'll do with the wedding etc. this will be like a vacation for me since I will not have either of my children with me, although I will miss them dearly it's always nice to have a break from my MOM duties! I so wish my hubby could come but my sister had to get married on the day of his final, oh well.
I have lots to do today, I have yet to pack, yikes! I'm cleaning out my kitchen cupboards because we are getting new cupboards tomorrow, yay! It'll be a nice surprise when I return to a new kitchen, kind of. I also have to go get groceries to fill the fridge with food so that my children won't go hungry while I'm gone, I need to do laundry because I'm sure not much will get done while I'm gone, I need to clean much of my house so that my poor hubby will have that much less to do while I'm gone.....and the list goes on. I need to get going with all of this stuff instead of sitting in front of the computer. Wish me luck, I hate flying!

I have to write this down before I forget, it was just so sweet.

Yesterday evening Eden got out my scriptures which she is never really allowed to play with them because in the past she has torn out pages, wrinkled pages, and maybe even written on a few of my old ones which I was not happy about and which is why I had to get new ones. Any way she got a hold of my new scriptures and was searching through them. I asked her "what are you doing?” She said that she was looking for some thing. I said “those are my scriptures, you need to be careful with them. Do you want me to read some thing to you from them?” hoping that would help me get them away from her “Yay!” she said all excited. So I asked her what she wanted me to read and she kept searching through them and opened up to the Bible Dictionary to The Law of Moses. Hmm oookay! So I started reading it a little and she began to laugh and said “mom what are you saying?” I told her that is what she picked out, so then she says “No I just want to see the pictures, you know of the worlds.” aka the maps and the other pictures in the back. So we find the ones in the back of The Book of Mormon and we locate our state in which we live, since we are close to a lot of the church history sites, and she thought that was cool. Then she found the new set of pictures in the back that are only in the new scriptures, the ones of our church history sites like: Carthage jail, Kirtland Temple, Far West Temple site, Joseph Smiths house, Peter Whitmer’s house and some other houses and things all having to do with the Church’s History. Any way she liked looking at those and said “mommy I want to live in this house okay," "umm sweety that is Carthage jail." she then says pointing to another picture "okay this one then…” and on and on then she came to the picture of the Sacred Grove and she gasped with excitement and in awe said “Ohh mommy what is this place!” I said “That is the Sacred Grove isn’t it beautiful?” “Oh yes mommy it is.” I then asked her if she knew what the Sacred Grove was, she responded that she did not, so I simply said “Did you know that this is the exact place where Joseph Smith the Prophet knelt down as a boy and prayed to know what church he should go to, and did you know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him and answered his prayer?” (for any one reading that is not a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, or also known as "The Mormons" and have no idea what the whole sacred grove is about or even the Mormon church and would like to know more click here for a good reference.)

Going on....She then said the most sweet and innocent thing ever, it was so cute and I could feel God’s presence near and I knew she knew this was a special place, I knew she could feel some thing, she said… “Mommy I want to go there and pray too!” I almost broke out in tears and said “ya me too sweet heart, me too!” Oh it was just so sweet! We are going this month! Well maybe not this month, but we have to go. I know she's young now and may not remember much but we are so close and I just want to take advantage of that while we're here so close to all the church history sites.

I love having kids! Some times I forget why we are told to "become as little children." I think I get caught up in just being a mom and taking care of their needs that I forget to listen to them and to be more like them.

Here is the whole scripture I referenced above

[Matt 18:1-4] "At the same time came the desciples unto Jesus saying, Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Veriyl I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little Children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as a little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven."

I love that scripture. I am blessed to be able to witness little things almost daily that remind me why this scripture is so important. Well any way, I just wanted to write this little story down before I forgot.

Family Pictures!

I told you I would post the family pictures we got taken a little while ago. They turned out really cute, I love them! I was surprised we got any of the family that were cute because J was being such a pill, but luckily we did. Here they are.....Enjoy!

I'll start with just the Family ones. This 1st one I think turned out the best, I don't know, it's hard to tell. It was so hard to get the kids to look at the camera at the same time with out making funny faces. So you decide.
Thanks a ton to my friend for getting good pics of our family it wasn't the easiest task to take on. They turned out cute though!
Now for the rest of the pictures I'll put them up on a separate post.

Family Pictures cont.
See post above for the actual family ones. These are the other ones of just the kids etc. There are a lot of them sorry!

E pictures. They turned out so cute because she loves the camera!

J Pictures. These were as good as we could get! They are cute though with lots of his personality in them. Thanks Adri for putting up with him you did awesome!
The ones of Us! This one is my favorite, I think it turned out cute.
A couple of me and the kids. It was windy my hair was going crazy!

Almost there...
I'm getting so excited for C's first year of Dental School to be done with. Phew, it was definitely not as hard as I thought it would be, but then again I wasn't the one taking the tests :) I just can't believe it's already one year down, just three more to go! It seemed like it took for ever just for him to get in to Dental School, and then waiting for the first year to get here so we could get going on him being in school again and having a schedule down seemed to take another eternity, and now him being in school seemed to just fly by, where did first year go? I guess I'm just getting excited to have him around for a month before 2nd year starts up. It'll be so nice to have him around helping out with the stuff I can't do, ya know the "man of the house" stuff. I'm getting my "honey do" list ready :) Cory just heard that expression the other day, the "honey do list" and he thought it was funny. I never give him a list, usually it's a list for both of us. Any way I can't wait to have a month to do whatever we want together. The kids are starting to get anxious to have Daddy home more. My favorite part of my day is when C walks through the door and J shouts "Da da!" he's just so excited to have Da Da come home.

Speaking of the kids loving their father I wanted to post this short cute story:

For C's birthday we went to the school for the first time as a family and had a picnic lunch and it was fun. Well E got to see Daddy's mail box. All the students have a mail box much like a P.O. Box to receive, well, mail mostly from their professors and other students and things like that. E thought that was the coolest thing and wanted to leave him a letter in it. She had reminded me several times that she needed to make a letter to put in to Daddy's mail box at school. So finally on Friday while Daddy was taking his big test we made cards for him telling him we loved him and couldn't wait until he is done with school so we could spend more time with him. We headed out to the school to drop the hand made cards off in his mail box. I knew he'd probably not be there, he was going biking after his test, so we were going to make it a quick trip. It was tough hauling the kids in but it was so worth it to see how excited E was to just drop the letter in the box. I wish I brought my camera, it was like Christmas to E! I was almost in tears thinking how sweet it was that she loves her Daddy that much to get that excited about a letter for him, it was so sweet. J had no idea what we were doing but he loves to follow his big sister so he had fun too.

I'm feeling slightly guilty I'm going to be out of town when C takes his last test and is officially done but it's not my fault that my sister just had to get married on the day of C's final! Just kidding Kim I love ya! But seriously, it does kind of suck. But here is why I KNOW I have the best hubby in the world, he's okay with being with the kids by himself for a week. I'm sure he's not excited or even looking forward to it but he's okay with it. I was actually going to see if I could bring the kids with me and leave him here alone and he actually said he'd much rather me leave them here with him and not have to worry about me traveling by myself with two kids. He knows it would be hard on the kids and me to travel, where as him being alone with them at home, not traveling would be a lot easier on every one. What a great man right?! I can't wait to go home and be with my family but it'll be weird not to have my hubby and kids with me. Any way I just feel bad, I think I'll have to plan a good date for C and I when I get back to make up for it. Now we just need to plan our month together as a family, what to do what to do? I'm sure we could come up with a few things. Any way I'm so proud of you C you're almost there!

Wednesday, May 14, 2008

I just took a shower and cleaned my house and now I feel a lot better so I looked back at my recent post I did this morning and thought "wow, that one was kind of boring." Sorry for the boring post. I guess it was mostly for family purposes. I thought I'd make up for it by posting this funny joke C showed me last night, we both got a good laugh out of it and maybe you've heard it before. I found it on Goodgle, The Jokester. I haven't taken time to look and see if all their jokes are clean and appropriate but this one is funny, maybe not appropriate for kids but it's not dirty by any means.

It's called The Importance of Listening Carefully :

A male patient is lying in bed in the hospital, wearing an oxygen mask over
his mouth and nose, still heavily sedated from a difficult four hour,
surgical procedure. A young, student nurse appears to give him a partial
sponge bath. "Nurse", he mumbles, from behind the mask, "Are my testicles
black?"

Embarrassed, the young nurse replies, "I don't know, Sir. I'm only here to
wash your upper body and feet."

He struggles to ask again, "Nurse, are my testicles black?"

Concerned that he may elevate his vitals from worry about his testicles, she
overcomes her embarrassment and sheepishly pulls back the covers. She
raises his gown, holds his penis in one hand and his testicles in the other,
lifting and moving them around. Then, she takes a close look and says,
"There's nothing wrong with them, Sir!!"

The man pulls off his oxygen mask smiles at her and says very slowly, "Thank
you very much. That was wonderful, but, listen very, very closely......
are - m y - t e s t - r e s u l t s - b a c k?"

ha ha ha, it made me laugh again! Ok I hope that didn't offend any one I didn't think it was bad.

Lots of things I guess.......

So I guess I should post some thing and there are probably lots of things I could post but will try not to make it too long.

E's last day of preschool for the year was yesterday and it made me a little sad, mainly because she loves it so much and LOVES her teacher and next year she will have a new one. I didn't take her, she went with her best buddy but we have the closing social for it on Thursday which I will definitely go to. I'm now trying to think of things to buy and do to keep her interested in learning during the summer so once August hits she'll be ready for next year.

Some thing silly E said...
E: mom J is drinking the bath water!
Me: well where do you think he learned it from?
E: I donno?
Me: yes you do, where do you think he learned that from? (meaning I wanted her to admit it was from her)
E: I donno maybe New York City or sompin (sompin=something)
WHAT?? I have no idea where she got that from but it was pretty funny!

She now uses a word that C and I use all the time apparently because she has picked it up.
Funky!
in this type of sentence mostly: Mom this medicine smells funky. OR sompin smells funky in here mom.
It's funny to hear her say that word, it makes me laugh every time.

Speaking of my silly daughter, I'm getting worried about her. She hasn't pooped in many many days and she is now complaining of tummy aches, most likely from not pooping for days on end. Poor girl. I'm sure you wanted to know this ha ha ha! I need to remember to include fiber in her diet, I just ran out of fruit a few days ago and have been lazy and hadn't gotten more and now she's all back up poor girl. I called the Dr. to see what I could give a 4 year old to help clean her out. C went to the store and got some thing that we hope will work. Now off to the store some time today to stock up on fiber rich foods.

Yesterday a good friend of mine was kind enough to take some family pictures for us. I'm really excited I hope that some turned out cute, not that my friend isn't good at photography, she is, but my little J boy was not in the most cooperative mood yesterday, okay so he was being a little punk on purpose! So hopefully we got one good family picture. She took SO many pics in hopes of getting J to look cute and happy in them. She said she filled up her whole memory card, wow that's a lot of pictures! I bet only 20% will be usable, that's the way it goes with a 1 1/2 year old. We would do all kinds of things to make J laugh or smile and then quickly turn him around to face the camera and as soon as he saw Adri he would immediately put on his pouty face, the little punk! We did get cutes ones, she showed me some while we were there but the question is did we get one of the whole family looking good, probably not but that's okay. She did some of just the kids and some of just me and C which I was glad she suggested because it looks like a few turned out really cute and we never get ones of just us so it'll be nice to have those. She did ones of me and the kids and then some of C and the kids and then did ones of just J and just E so we'll have plenty to chose from. I can't wait to see them all. E was haming it up for her personal portraits it was cute to watch her play "model" she did really good at listening to Adri and doing what she asked, I was impressed. J on the other hand just ran from her, ha ha ha she was so good with him though. Thanks a TON Adri for putting up with my silly boy and snapping some pictures of the family for us!
Mom this is what you are getting from me for mothers day, lots of pics of the grand kids :) I just had to tell you because I know you are going to read this and ask for some of the pictures for you, it's being taken care of.

I'll be putting up the ones that turned out cute on here soon. That's all that's new around here with us. Okay so I thought this would be a short post sorry!

New phones with out the lame sales people!
We got new cell phones this weekend Yay!
Pet peeve #1: these phones do not last very long, 2 years come on?! I don't usually abuse my phone. I try hard to keep it away from the kids. They know they are never aloud to play with our phones, and I don't drop it all that often, so why then does it go ppffftt after two years? They just want our money.
Pet peeve #2: the sales people at the cell phone stores.
Not so cool that they tried to sell the same two phones that were FREE online, to me at the store for $130 plus tax, no thanks! I think they watch a mother come in the store and think "jack pot" well little did they know I am no stupid mother! I know they get commissions, I'm not that stupid. I refuse to pay lots of $$ for phones that don't even last two years! When I asked them what they could do for me if I resigned a 2 year and they give me that lame offer I walked right out the door, knowing I could find some thing better some where else, most likely online. And that is just what we did, we went online the next day. We ordered two phones that were nicer than the ones they offered me for just $9 a phone! Not too bad. The best part, free shipping and they came the next day! I'm so happy to have my new phone!
I don't know why I even bother with the stores and the sales people there when I can get better deals on line and no hassle from any one! I think these companies need to rethink their "Customer Service" it's just not working. I guess the reason I go in and give them a chance is because I hope to get just that, good, honest customer service but when I don't get it, I'm done, that's it never again! I guess working in Customer Service for years got me expecting a lot more out of companies but I don't feel that is a bad thing, I think they need to have that expectation by their customers it gives them some thing to strive for but all they care about are their commissions and nothing else. Well you aren't getting any thing from me sorry!
I'm so mean, but not to the people I just don't give in to their pushy sales tactics and walk out, but you understand why I do it right?
Well yay for new phones that work great!

My "pretty" kids
Here are just a few cute pictures of the kids I got recently. I was playing with the settings on our camera and I would tell E to look pretty so I could take a picture and test it. Well this one is the cutest one I got of her. She really does look pretty. I wanted to do some touch ups on it but couldn't really figure it out, Adri I need your help! It's still a cute picture though! So as I was telling E to look pretty for the camera J decided to try it too as you can see his face isn't quite as "pretty " as E's
The rest of the night he would try and pose for the camera which he never does! So I would say "make a pretty face J" and this is the same face he would give me every time, ha ha ha so pretty right?! It cracks me up!
J found the pink guitar and decided to rock out for a while. I put the heart sunglasses on him, I just thought this picture was so funny.
I haven't been taking many pictures lately so this is all I got. Enjoy!

My Mothers Day
So I thought I'd put a little of what happened yesterday at the Harker Home. C got me flowers and some yummy Dove ice cream a small one so I didn't have to share if I didn't want to. I did share though, and only because I didn't want to say I ate the whole pint by myself :) It was delicious! E made a cute magnet at preschool for me and was so excited to give it to me in the morning. And the best part of my morning was I got to sleep in a little and when I came down stairs J shouted out for me (he said "da da" but I know he meant ma ma:) and was so excited to see me, I love that feeling of being needed. Church was same 'ol same 'ol. The Primary kids went up and sang their song, I thought E would have sang a little but she didn't oh well. She was a little disappointed that some bigger kids stood in front of her and she couldn't see me, that is why she didn't sing, or at least that was her excuse, oh well! She still looked very cute up there, of what I could see of her. We had fun with our sunbeams doing a Mothers Day craft. Then after church I got an even better treat, both kids took a nap after church and gave me some quiet time, that was nice. I got some reading done! The rest of the evening E was so cute she kept asking "is it still Mothers Day today?" and I would tell her yes and she would then proceed to find some thing to do for me, it was SO sweet! She would take a paper bag and find "gifts" all over the house to put in the bag and then say "here, it's a surprise for you!" She did this several times. I got chalk, room spray, candle wax, and pretzels, what a sweet girl :) she and J would hug and kiss me all day and they were both so good, no fighting, no whining just good little angels. All in all it was a fun Mothers Day! I couldn't ask for better children or a better husband, I truly am blessed. I know Mothers Day is about the Moms but I think some times we forget that we are nothing with out the support of our wonderful husbands, or at least that is the way I feel. I can't wait for my turn to spoil him on Fathers Day!

Saying Goodbye

I love that I have friends here that are in the same boat as me and my family, by that I mean friends that have hubbies in school still.

For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about let me explain and for those of you who do just skip this part. My hubby is in Dental School, his first year, although we've been out in this area for two years. We live in a community of town houses where there are literally a dozen or so "student families" living here. Our ward (church) we are in is filled with several more "student families" we are all either Dental,Law and even a couple of Med "student families."

so going on with my post...
It's nice for us wives to have that support group. I don't know what we would do with out each other some times. Right now first year for C has been good, he has not been gone away from home a ton but still it has been a big change for us. So it's nice to be able talk with the other wives about what next year will bring, or the third or fourth year will bring to mine and my hubbies lives. It's like I get a peek into my future, it's nice to know that second year I won't hardly see my hubby and that third and fourth year is a lot better as far as Daddy being home goes. I love that we can all go through the same thing together and be happy together and cry together, we are all close. Even if we aren't best friends it's nice to know that I can run over to so-and-so's house and they most likely will say "come on in" and I can chat, it's nice to know although we don't "hang out" every day we are all so accepting of each other, because we already have one huge part of our lives in common.

So my main reason for this post is I've been thinking why this situation is some times hard, I think the only bad thing about this whole situation we're in, is the goodbyes we have to say every year around May to those who graduate and move on. They move on to actually, really, truly start their lives and I'm happy for them. I'm glad I was able to get to know many of them but it's hard to say good bye for more than one reason: One being that I'm slightly jealous and wish I was at that point in our life, but two, and the most important reason it's hard say goodbye is because it's to friends you've gotten to know so well, friends you've watched get huge and pregnant and then see their babies and when they leave they aren't babies any more, friends that watched your kids when they didn't even really know you at the time and you needed some one and they were willing, friends that you would do things for and they would in return do things for you, no questions asked, friends who are there for you to just cry with when you can't handle your kids any longer, friends to show you around the new area, friends that were just there any time you needed to get out of the house and be with another adult. As I was realizing how it has been kind of hard for me to say goodbye I realized that they, who are moving on, are having just as hard of a time saying goodbye as all of us, if not more so.
This year seems different it seems like there are a lot of families that won't be moving until later in the summer or fall but I still get to thinking about them not being in the ward or around the corner from me and it makes me sad. I know we'll try to keep in touch but we are all so busy it just won't be the same.

So to all you families moving on whether it be tomorrow or in the fall whether we were super close or not I want to say.....

Thank you- I'm sure you've done some thing for me or my family, even if it was just chatting with me or babysitting once or twice or many more times ;)
Good luck- Life will change and it's always hard for something new in life even if it's a good something, good luck with what comes your way.
Keep in touch-many of you will be in the area so please keep in touch and for those who are leaving us far away please keep in touch as best you can too.
For those who won't be close by we'll miss you and your family, whether we were really close friends or not it seems like when people leave there is always that feeling of loss of friends in the ward, you will be missed!

I'm so grateful for the friendships I have made while making this crazy journey. I'm such a sap when it comes to these things. Some thing to know about me and you can ask my mom, all growing up I realized it was a good thing to have good friends, to develop good friendships in life and to be true to them. I've always been as loyal of a friend as I could be because I cherish my friends and try to make them lasting friendships, I guess I try not to take having friends for granted. So I guess, to get to know good people every year and then have to say goodbye is always hard on me. I really am going to be a bawl baby when it's finally our turn to move on, oh well at least I know it :)

I think every life experience comes with good and bad parts and if the bad is only having to say goodbye once a year for four (well five for me) years then I guess that isn't too bad of a bad thing (if that made any sense??) things could be worse it what I'm trying to say! So here it is, my official goodbye.... Goodbye "4th years" and "3rd year Law" you will be missed!

5 things that make me happy today:

1. E goes to preschool today. It's not that I just want her out of my hair but she loves preschool and didn't go last time because she was throwing up. So she is happy to go back and I happy to take her!

2. J slept better last night and so did I, and I'm taking him to the Dr. that makes me happy because there is hope up a head.

3. It's Thursday on a non-test week for my hubby, that means he won't be up all night studying and we get to watch The Office together yay!

4. My hubby, he works so hard in school. He was up and out to school before I was even awake, even after a late night and I think "he does it all for us, for me, so that I can stay home with the kids" I love that I married such a great man, he always makes me happy!

5. I just realized his first year of Dental School is almost over, just a couple more weeks and then we have a month with Daddy around the house every day! That makes me happy!

After my venting post yesterday I thought I'd put up a less frustrated post and think more positive, I think it's working I feel like its going to be a good day.

I'm so frustrated right now and just need to vent.....
Why will my boy not sleep?!!! What is his problem?! I mean it's not like he doesn't need the rest, he does need it! He was up, who knows how many times last night. We did every thing to make sure he wasn't too hot, too cold, too hungry, too wet and yet he still kept waking up. Well after a night like that you'd think he'd sleep in at least past 8am, did he? NO, he was up at a quarter to, I was so mad! I feel so sleep deprived right now and I thought when he goes down for his nap I'll take a nap too while E watches a movie. So did he go down for a nap? NOPE! He slept for less than an hour, which is definitely not long enough for a good nap for him, especially after last night. I don't know what to do about this kid. I keep comparing him to E when she was his age, she would beg to take a nap and would sleep no less than two hours a day for her naps, some times much longer. WHY OH WHY CAN'T HE DO THAT!!! Most kids need to sleep two hours don't they? Well I think he should sleep much longer than 45 minutes and I'll tell you why, because he is such a grump if he gets only a short nap and it's not fun for any one when he's grumpy. Oh I'm so frustrated right now, I think I'm just going to take him to the Doctor to see if he's got an ear infection, what else could be bugging him this bad? Why won't he sleep?!!!
Okay I'm done venting it felt good.

Water Girls
It has been off and on warm, enough to let the kids get in the water. I bought E a pool a while back and finally let her set it up the other day. She had her bestest friend over to help her brake it in. They got a little cold at the end but they still had a blast!
The water from the hose is still a little too cold but they toughed it out. MJ fell in head first it was pretty funny! When it gets really hot I think I'll have to join them.

Beautiful Shine
I hate my kitchen floor. It is made of the cheapest material ever and it is the hardest to clean and keep clean BUT......
I think I have the cleanest, shiniest kitchen floor in the world! It only took a couple of hours, a few Mr. Clean magic scrubbers, a mop, some rags, lots of soap, and a few coats of quick shine to make it look this way and it'll only take a couple of days to get it right back to the way it used to be (sigh) oh well. I told C "come quick, look at how shiny and clean the floor is, you may not see it like this for a long time." and he came, he looked, he was impressed, yes! I love you Quick Shine, you make an ugly floor look amazing! The only thing on my floor this morning after breakfast...
a single froot loop! I've been locking my kids out of the kitchen, yelling at my hubby to take his shoes off before entering the kitchen and sweeping up crumbs every ten minutes in hopes of keeping it this way for more than one day, yeah right like that'll happen.

I normally don't do more than one post in a day for lack of time, but today I decided to any way. So don't forget to scroll down and read my other two posts.

Pictures, just playing with the camera

E playing on the fence
J got into some butt cream, the nystatin stuff you get from the Dr. for yeast infections, yummy! Lucky for me I wasn't home and C had to clean him up, HA HA!
Baby girl! We watched her the other night while her mom and dad went to her mommy's Dental Graduations Party. Baby girl was making funny faces all night so C was trying to get some good pictures of it.

Late nights with bad dreams!
E has been waking up at night for the last week or so with bad dreams, it makes for not so fun nights for her and mom, and daddy too. The other night she was up twice for a long time, she just was too scared to fall back asleep on her own. She finally did fall asleep but slept in until 10am the next morning, she had a rough night! I asked her what her dream was about and why it was so scary and this is what she said:

E: I dreamed I had two dolls, a boy doll and a girl doll and they were both alive.

Okay so that right there would scare me!

E continued: And the boy doll turned his head slowly to look at me and then said "Hello E" (note: she really said the doll said "hello E," the letter E not her real name, which thought was a little funny, we never really call her E in real life we usually say her whole name.)
SCARY!! What a scary dream no wonder she was up half the night. I pictured in my head the Chucky doll, and that doll freaks me out. It was kind of funny, only because as she was telling me the dream she was slowly turning her head like the doll must have done with her eyes wide and then when she told me what the boy doll said she said it all slow and in an ominous voice as if that is how the doll said it. She creeped me out!
Poor girl, so now each night we say a prayer that she will have good dreams and be able to sleep through the night. It was so sweet, last night as I'm tucking her in bed and after we said a little prayer I asked her what she thought was something happy for her to think about right before bed so that she would have good dreams and she quickly replied "Jesus!" she's right that is a happy thing to think about! And she didn't wake up in the night with bad dreams, I think it worked.
