Saying good Bye

It's that time of year again, where the "Fourth years" have graduated and are all moving out of our neighborhood, moving on with their lives and many are moving far away out West. It's exciting for the fact that it's one year closer for us getting to be the ones to move out and move on, but sad at the same time because we will miss our friends.

This year was a lot harder. One of our closets friends were the ones to be leaving us this year.
We have been friends with the Erekson's for SIX years, living in the same city with them almost the whole time, with the exception of several months while they were in Georgia.

We met in Rexburg just over six years ago right before Josh and Sarah got married and we spent the next year and a half getting to know them as the boys finished up school at BYU-I. After that we headed out to the Mid West to see if C could get in to the same Dental school Josh was accepted to (that is a whole other long story, but it all worked out:).

When we moved out here we both had just one child each.....

Now, four years later between the both of us there are six kids (three each)!
Sarah and I joked all the time about C and Josh being "biking soul mates" :) but at least when they were out biking we had each other to sympathize with :)

We have had such a good six years of being friends and living in the same city as each other, and even though they are now going to be many many miles away we are looking forward to many more years of friendship.

One of E's best friends..Paige! Both posing for the pictures

Every year for six years we have celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving with the Erekson's (Sarah is from BC Canada, C if from Alberta) and we plan on keeping that a tradition for as long as possible.

So Erekson's, we'll see ya in October!

It's only good bye for a little while.

We love you guys!

That's how I feel about Rexburg! It is hard when your close friends are the ones to be moving on with their lives, and leaving you behind.
