Yes, we had another sister of mine come out to visit/help us.
It's amazing how having a baby can get our family out here to see us :)
This time we had Auntie Allie out here for a week. It was so nice to have more help. It was funny, when it came time for Allie to go home E says to her "Who's coming tomorrow?!" ha ha ha my poor kids are going to be so disappointed and bored when no more family comes out to visit/entertain them. No one came the next day but my Mom is still coming out this Friday and my kids are counting down the days until she is here.
Here are some fun things we did with Auntie Allie.....
Our neighborhood had it's annual yard sale while she was here and we decided to participate.....in a different way, E had her very first Lemonade stand.
It took a few times of me explaining to her what it was, basically "You will make money by pouring people a glass of lemonade that Mom bought." Then when she realized the money would be hers she was willing and ready to hold her first Lemonade stand.
I also tried to teach her a little lesson in advertisement "E if you smile cute and big as the cars drive by or wave and say hi to people as they walk by they will see how cute you are and want to buy your lemonade." Did it work you ask? YEP. Lesson learned. She made just over $7 in about an hour and half's time because we got rained out, not bad!
While Allie was here the weather was GORGEOUS! So we took advantage of it one of the days and took her to a nice state park with awesome hiking trails, only thing that went wrong, we forgot our bug spray. BUT we still had fun hiking around in the creek and "woods" as the kids call it.

What else did we do?Watched lots of movies, saw Shrek in the theater, played lots, got really dirty....
I got to go to doctors appointments with out any of the kids a couple of times......
oh yes, Allie and the kids got to catch fire flies or lightning bugs whatever you want to call them. Being from out West, Allie had never seen fire flies, so she was excited to see them and get to catch them.

Looks like fun. That hike looks especially pretty. I wish it wasn't 95 degrees plus humidity, then I would go outside more :(
No fair! I want to catch fireflies. I have never seen one in real life either. How late in to the summer are they still around? Hmmm....
