Yard sale vs. Lemonade Stand

This last weekend was our neighborhood Yard Sale. Last year E did a lemonade stand but was only out there for about an hour or so because it got rained out. Last year she made $7.

This year it was 95 degrees outside and she was out there from 8:30am until about 2pm (she got too tired and hot). She made three times as much $ this year! J boy also decided to help out and actually was better at "selling" it than E was. They split the profits between them, it was only fair, J boy and his friends did much of the work.

I decided to put out some of our "junk" to sell at the yard sale..... sadly E and J made more money than me :(

So fyi in 95 degree weather Lemonade Stand wins over yard sale, easy!

P.S. If you want to see the cutest thing a little four year old boy can do watch him sit behind his handmade "lemonade for sale" sign while yelling out "Lemonade for sell! Come and get it!" Seriously, it was so cute!
